Will Smoke Become "Fired"?

For the first time in 16 years (an NCAA record), LSU is not hosting an NCAA Regional for baseball.

  1. Welcome to my world. Oh, how it hurts. With the state of Florida void of a regional, maybe I'll get lucky and be able to see my Canes play the regional in Houston.

  4. Latest "rumor" is Rick Jones of Tulane...whatever. I would like to see Bianco but he's not leaving Ole Miss.

  5. Dup...definitely feel your pain.

    MHebert...neat articles

Ron...you can never count anyone out...LSU would be a huge draw for anyone due to the size and support of the crowd and the ability to pay lots more than most places.

  6. Nick...you are right in that LSU fans' expectations are pretty high...especially in baseball after winning 5 national championships in 10 years. However not making it to a regional which means you aren't even in the top 64 of the country is definitely hitting bottom by those standards.
