Another Good Man Lost

Less than a month after the election and we have now lost two incredibly talented men. First Rummy and now Bolton. Thanks to the libs who blocked his nomination as UN Ambassador, we are even weaker now on the world stage.

Here is list of just a few of his accomplishments over the last year:
  • Led the successful negotiations that resulted in unanimous Security Council resolutions regarding North Korea's military and nuclear activities.
  • Built consensus among our allies on the need for Iran to suspend the enrichment and reprocessing of uranium
  • Led efforts to promote the cause of peace in Darfur resulted in a peacekeeping commitment by the United Nations

I can't believe how much this bummed me out. You should be able to see by the mini-temper tantrum I had about it on my blog today :-). Losing Rummy and Bolton were both Huge losses in my opinion, very hard to take.

Wonderful..now the UNDP can resume funneling money to the Palestinian Authority to back the production of banners, bumper stickers, mugs, and T-shirts bearing the provocative slogan "Today Gaza, Tomorrow the West Bank and Jerusalem"
