Conservative Victory on ILLEGAL Immigration
Conservatives once again showed that they are not weak or defeated. In a great show of unity similar to the uprise over the Miers nomination, conservatives once again showed we still can effect the direction of the nation by defeating the greatly flawed immigration bill with a 46-53 vote in the Senate. This should show Repubs that if they want to win in '08, go back to what got them elected in the first place, conservative values!

This is a unifying victory for conservatives. And it goes well beyond the squabbles over Harriet Miers and Dubai Ports.
I don't know ANYONE on the conservative side who thought the Senate bill written in secret by Ted Kennedy was a good idea.
