House Repub Leaders Miss Great Opportunity

House Repub leaders had a great chance to show they learned from the mistakes of the past by appointing anti-earmark crusader, Rep. Jeff Flake, to the open seat on the Appropriations Committee. This would have been a very clear signal that they were once again going to be serious abour curbing uncontrolled spending. Unfortunately, they decided to thumb their noses at fiscal conservatives and pass over Rep Flake for the seat. What will it take to get the Repub party back to its fiscal conservative roots??? What will it take to make them understand that they won't be returned to the majority if they continue to act like the Dems???
