Kelo Lives

Unfortunately the attempt to teach Supreme Court Justice Souter a lesson has failed, but here comes another try.

The New Hampshire Libertarian party is collecting signatures to seize the 167-acre Plainfield vacation home of Justice Breyer and turning it into a park. Organizers are gathering signatures to go before the town next spring and ask that Breyer's property be seized and converted into "Constitution Park," complete with "stone monuments to commemorate the U.S. and New Hampshire constitutions." Full Story

Let's hope this one has more success!!!

I thought I saw Alice the other day! Or maybe it was Justice Souter –skipping in Wonderland, immune to and above the laws he passes.

He won't be skipping much longer because as soon as Roberts is confirmed he will be completely irrelevant!!!

Good pick up, CT. Here's the thing, though - it's all about maximizing economic benefit through highest and best use, otherwise, it's not abusive eminent domain.

Now, if it were a consitution _amusement_ park...
