Hurricane Relief Effort

For those who are able, my church is one of the relief hubs in the Baton Rouge area. You can get info on what is needed from their website or Pastor Dino's blog, which is being updated frequently. Another way to help, if you are in Louisiana or the Gulf Coast region, is a new outreach, Share Your Home, started by some friends in LA.

It never ceases to amaze me how everyone does whatever is needed in the face of such tragic disasters.

comeaux,
Everything is crazy here. we need as many as possible to donate to the efforts. People from New Orleans won't be able to go home for weeks if EVER! Slidell is gone. The destruction is just aweful. Word is that 40 miles of the coast is gone.
We've now officially partnered with the Red Cross, FEMA, and a ton of other agencies and churches to get people taken care of. We've started to take in everything from clothing to money to medical supplies.
People should stay connected to Dino's blog at www.dinorizzo.com it's being updated several times per day with the latest info from BR. We need help. Keep us in your prayers as we attempt to make an impact on the people that are near to God's heart (the poor and hurting).
