Two Americas Indeed
John Edwards is working real hard to prove his own campaign slogan, Two Americas. He spent $1250 on a HAIRCUT and I thought having to pay $25 was crazy.

He certainly ain't living in MY America.
$1,250 is 1 1/2 times my monthly house note; almost 4 times my monthly truck payments.
John Edwards and his "Two Americas" is worth a P.O.S. to me.
Not saying anything about him being rich. If he will spend $1250 for a haircut, which is an absolutely ridiculous amount, how can he say anything about helping the poor with a straight face. 65% of the world survives on $2/day or less. So Edwards could have spent a much more reasonable amount say $100, still too much in my mind, but with the amount he saved he could have supported nearly 2 people for an entire year if he really cared for the poor. I won't even start on his mega mansion! Actions speak way louder than words.
you're right. like when the president's "action" of commuting the libby sentence spoke louder than his "words" when he swore that anyone in the White house who acted improperly should face whatever penalties the justice system imposed.
First off get your quote right. The President said anyone in his administration was found guilty of leaking classified information would be removed from the administration. So your jab at the President's actions are wrong on two fronts. Libby is no longer in the administration and second he was never found guilty of leaking classified oh and neither was anyone else by the way.

just because a man is rich does not mean he cannot care about the poor.
