Big Loss...Front Page, Record Gains...Bury It

When the DOW fell 400 points in February, it was on every major paper's front page painting gloom and doom. Now with two days of record closes by the DOW and the S&P, it is buried or even ignored in the same papers. Can't report anything that gives the impression that the economy is booming now can we?

I'm surprised the "news" media isn't still running wall to wall stories about the homeless problem and soup kitchens.

Hard to ignore that the Dow has rocketed from 12,000 to nearly 14,000 in less than a year but the "news" media do their best.

They've gotten so much practice ignoring good news in Iraq.
