Was Al Gore in Town?

Two years ago when I was living in NYC, Al Gore gave a "major" global warming speech. It ended up being the coldest day in NYC history in over 100 years...great timing Al. So being NYC received 26.9 inches of snow yesterday, the most in the city's history, I was just wondering if Gore was in town again.

Not saying it is his fault...just funny.

As far as global warming being a problem, I can point to just as many studies that show we are only going through normal earth cycles. The proof that humans are causing it is by no means conclusive.

Should we be responsible to the planet, yes. However we need to be smart about it and not go overboard.

For example, one volcano eruption (and btw, there are 100s a year) puts more CO (robs the atomosphere of ozone, creating global warming)in the air than every human combined since the beginning of time, so to curb CO emissions from cars, industrial plants, aerosol cans, etc. would have no measureable impact on the amount of CO being put out by natural means.
