Problem Solved!
Every single one of these people should be loaded on a plane, flown to Baghdad, wrapped in an American flag, left in the middle of the street at noon, holding signs with the Danish cartoons, and a recording playing on a continuous loop "Mohammed was gay!"

I'm a nice gf and was submitting to my bf's wishes... I dont wanna cause controversy among the fam or make people assume wrong things about me (im not a left wing person, just thought the movie was interesting).
I believe that the WBC was actually going to go to Iraq and do something to that effect. They're THAT twisted.
I definitely agree that funerals (military or otherwise) should not be picketed for any reason. There's a time for activism and a time for tact. Furthermore, picketing military funerals for anti-gay reasons is a worthless and misguided endeavor in any case.
I'm glad to see the counter-protesters (who serve mainly to block mourners' views of the angry picketers) taking a stand. Even if I don't always agree with their politics, I am grateful that they set out to help people who deal with enough grief already.
Glad we all agree on this topic. Ian you are right in that there is a time and place for everything. I'd have no problem, as much as I disagree, with this same group protesting on the Capitol lawn or in front of the White House, but doing this at a funeral of a fallen soldier is the lowest of the low.

Doesn't surprise me one bit that the ACLU is trying to stop such a bill.
