Woody Jenkins for Congress

I just found out that Woody Jenkins is running in the special election to replace retiring Congressman Richard Baker. The first campaign I ever worked on was back in 1996 when Woody ran for US Senate. I can't believe that was 12 years ago!!!

If you are in Baton Rouge, get out and help any way you can. For everyone else, this is one race you want to support as much as possible. Woody is definitely the type of man we desperately need in Washington. The primary is March 8th, so time is short. Let's do our best to see that he gets there this time as he should have in '96.

I worked for Woody Jenkins in 1991(I think that's the year, or it was close to then) when he was a representative. Tony Perkins worked with us too.

Did you work in his office or on a campaign?

What about his links to David Duke and the KKK?

There are no links...I love how when people can't find anything bad to say about a person that is true, they just keep repeating the same lies. Let me guess, he also bought his mansion from the money that was supposed to be helping kids in Central America right? Pathetic!

Here is a comment that may help Mr. Jenkins in the future. Alot of republicans remembered on 5-3-08 Mr. Jenkins silence when other republicans were involved in important races in the Baton Rouge area. My extended family and I did not vote for him primarily because he did not support the republican candidate in a major election in late 07. We remembered, as did many other folks in EBR. Woody, if you want your party to support you, you have to support OTHER conservative republican candidates. Hope you remember this in the future.

And which candidate in '07 didn't he support?
