ILLEGAL Immigration Articles

Never Disappoints:

I knew Coulter's article this week would be about the ILLEGAL immigration protests and subsequent issues. As always, I was not disappointed. It is a must read!

What Else Did You Expect???:

According to this article, the flow of ILLEGAL immigration has already increased by at least 26% so far this year (that's just based on arrests).

The shelter's manager, Francisco Loureiro, said he has not seen such a rush of migrants since 1986, when the United States allowed 2.6 million illegal residents to get American citizenship.

This time, the draw is a bill before the U.S. Senate that could legalize some of the 11 million people now illegally in the United States while tightening border security. Migrants are hurrying to cross over in time to qualify for a possible guest-worker program - and before the journey becomes even harder.

Since the United States tightened security at the main crossing points in Texas and California in the 1990s, hundreds of thousands of migrants have turned to the hard-to-patrol, mesquite-covered Arizona desert, risking rape, robbery and murder at the hands of gangs and now facing armed U.S. civilian groups.

So...strengthening security DOES work??? No guest worker program should ever be considered until we FIRST get control of the borders!

bmartin...you would think wouldn't you?

chuck...as far fetched as that sounds you just need to look at Europe and realize the dangers of non-assimilation.

On a serious note, while I heard also that TX was the only state that had a provision in their constitution to allow succession, someone told me a few years back that their constitution has been amended since then to not allow that anymore.
