Ok...let me see if I understand this correctly. If you have just recently broke our laws, you are punished, but if you have been breaking our laws for the last 5 YEARS or more you are kosher.
That is what some "Republican" lawmakers are proposing as a compromise to the immigration bill currently in the Senate.

I was disgusted at what I heard was the "compromise" on immigration today. Yikes!!
